Join us for a FREE online event on April 5th at 1 PM EST – Unstuck Yourself in Difficult Conversations! Open to members and guests. RSVP to attend!
Approaching difficult discussions is hard – especially for new leaders. Often the default is to delay or avoid the conversation which only perpetuates the situation, leaves us anxious, frustrated or even angry and leads to distrust with our team.
We are so excited to have Crystal Simmons, Founder of Crystal Clear Purposes, Coach, Speaker and host of the Unstuck Yourself with Crystal Simmons podcast, join us to discuss easy ways to approach difficult conversations and how to reframe the idea of difficult conversations in your mind so the thought of approaching them makes you less anxious. Having the empathy, bravery and confidence to approach difficult conversations is critical to high-performance leadership and is a skill that will ultimately help you build trust with your team and yourself.
This is an interactive meeting and time will be given for you to ask questions, contribute and even participate in a short demo practicing for a real life difficult situation.
Michelle Harris, founder of Bosstrack, will moderate the discussion.
About Crystal Simmons
Crystal Simmons is the founder of Crystal Clear Purposes where she offers coaching, speaking collaborations and hosts the “Unstuck Yourself with Crystal Simmons” podcast. She believes that everyone deserves to speak up, be heard and be valued for their unique contributions. And when businesses listen, they can literally change the lives of their employees and customers.
Crystal started out as a Radiology Clinical Coordinator and Instructor in 2014 and moved up to Chief Technologist of Radiology 3 short years later. She experienced firsthand the cost of voices not being heard in organizations. She worked long hours, strived to train and empower her team of 50+, but ran into continuous roadblocks with leadership. They didn’t want to hear about employee dissatisfaction and unsafe conditions, and shut down her attempts to shine a light and improve the situation for everyone.
